Primusinterpares: The present crop of people in power have no desire to get things right. You guys need to understand this. Check Nigeria's history, there has been a steady decline in all facets of democracy. Governance has been on a negative trajectory and you think they don't know what they're doing? Lolzzzzz.....it amuses me when I see people who believe in the promises of this government. Anyways, let Nigerians suffer since we've chosen to allow our leaders use tribal and religious differences to control us |

Zionmdde: You are very right!!! The "master strategist" is set to make 1USD to equal 2500NGN in the next three months, that way "we" who work with him, will become millionaires quicker since he pays us in USD (Chicago connections) . Therefore creating more millionaires in Nigeria. Then by March 2024 "The master strategist" will wave his strategic mind wand and return the rate to 1usd =10NGN ... *in Sabinus voice* "Smart Move!" At this rate "the master strategist" would now ginger 50,000 Youths into the army, with that large Army we will now challenge all the heeeeeboes and snatch all their Agbado, which will then be exported in high volumes globally... Because I know that "no be statistics I go chop", By then I would have created and color printed a PHD certificate from any university I like... maybe from Havard. Then I run for Governor of the FCT being the 37th state... *in Sabinus voice* "Nice one" See the strategy na... Jagaban... the average Nigerian remains a B.A.T.Man 1 Like |

I agree. The problem is Tinubu has already mentioned he wants interest rates to be low. Potential impact of this sort of policy include: increase in business loan defaults, consequently leading to negative impact on the banks books. I keep saying that corruption is killing Nigeria, its rotten stench fills the corridor of power. Truly the loans being borrowed should be used for infrastructure e.g., link farming comunities with cities kano to lagos, benue to abuja etc. These are the projects that will encourage trade within the country and reduce the cost of transport. cash transfer etc. are just means to corruption, lead to unproductivity etc. It is a shame that the government keeps focusing on projects that meet their political ends and not the long term needs of the country. Borrowing huge funds for consumption is short term gain long term loss. Corruption, is one of the various cancers in this country. grandstar: 1 Like |

GetSenseNow:You are right bro. However, I don't believe any promises of this government. I simply want this government to implement a productive policy that will encourage massive industrialization and processing of all our natural resources. On the use of tribal and religious difference to divide us, yes I agree with you. They use the divide and rule tactics, i.e when we fight amongst ourselves, they have a field day for sharing and stealing from the national purse. We the people should be wise enough to put our ethnic and religious difference aside when it concerns moving the nation forward. Because the end of the day we Nigeria is still our country. I still believe that this nation will be great even in my time. 1 Like |

@God1000 Nigeria under tinubu is in topsy turvy and complete retroversion. His policies are hurting everyone, I don't know where we're headed. @me Read what experts are saying here. For once you guys should be less myopic. It's not a tinubu issue. Long standing Nigerian problem and global issue. The accumulation that they are clearing now, who accumulated them? This is one of the issues that put so much pressure on the exchange rate. We need to be open minded so that we can blame when there is need to blame. |
