And they still had to reduce the reserve ratio meaning more paper money in circulation...paper bill that's backed by nothing tangible

Now the many money is still chasing few dollars gotten Majorly from crude oil

Now they're hiding behind cashless policy because they know that if every Nigerian was to go to the bank to demand their physical cash at once, there'd be problem...
THAT'S WHY THEY ENCOURAGE CASHLESS

you'd actually think they care about you carrying large volume of cash around

Bullshiiiit

Leave the politicians alone. All our arguments won't solve a thing. They're surrounded with people with the best educational qualifications yet they still messing it all up. I'm willing to discuss more on your proposed solution: currency arbitrage
Currency Arbitrage is using fiat like naira to buy Dollars at bank rate and selling it at Black market rate to make massive profit.

THE PROFIT YOU MAKE IN THIS PROCESS IS MAJORLY BACKED BY NIGERIA CRUDE OIL SALES RETURN WHICH IS ALWAYS IN DOLLARS.

But mind you, Now that we have Crypto Dollars, you have option of choosing between bank dollar and crypto dollar to complete your trade. Crypto promotes freedom of the commoners around the globe (only if you use it).

If you resides in U.S.A for example, you can use variation in price of there NEO BANKS( PayPal, skrill, linepay etc.) price of USDT to Dollar to do Arbitrage. You need no Naira here.
