Nigerians we need to stand up and pass this at the house of rep. We have the power of Nairaland and Social Media to get our views seen by millions. For a fair Nigeria and better electoral process, I strongly believe that the president should never have a hand in appointing the Inec chairman or any Inec representative at all. Inec is an independent body and so they should choose between them selves via an election.. and also the inec chairman should be retired by the board and never by the president. Including the chief justice Same as the chief justice, our Constitution should be really amended on these. What do you think? |
