There have been several speculations that Nigerian musician, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema is now a member of the satanic illuminati group, the world’s most powerful secret society. The Illuminati, simply put, is described as a secret cult that houses top personalities from the entertainment industry. Their operations have been rumored to be dark, involving blood sacrifices and other diabolical practices.

These Allegation of rema being a member of the illuminati have been circulating for a while, especially since the ‘Dumebi’ crooner began wearing a chain with a pendant featuring a burning church and an upside-down cross.

However, the controversy escalated few days ago, when he shared a video to announce latest EP, titled Ravage. The video had a mysterious and dark vibe, with bats.

This didn’t sit well with many of his followers, who heavily criticized him for what they perceived as an infusion of satanism in his video. Every single caption on his posts has the bat animal emoji, and the videos stylistically display the animal too. Because of the preconceived notion of the bat as a demonic animal in Nigeria and Africa, people have come out to query Rema’s intention with the use of the animal, accusing the singer of being diabolical with his music.

Although, some persons described it as being super creative while some didn’t hold back in their criticisms. It was slammed as occultic with a smidge of satanic vibes. In September, Rema was denied access to perform in Ethiopia over allegations of his popular pendant and necklace carrying a satanic sign, which is a piece from his ‘Raves and Rose’ album cover.
