The fact that he was knocked down doesn't mean he was knocked out. Fury still got up and continued the fight which was decided on points. Fury won by just one point.

wrong
Judge A scored 95-94 in favour of Ngannou
Judge B scored 96-93 in favour of Fury
Judge C scored 95-94 in favour of Fury

That is not 'just one point'.

Also, it would have been unanimous and the gap would have been wider if Ngannou didn't get that knockdown. That knockdown is what really improved his scores. He fought well no doubt, but Fury fought better. I watched the fight, so I don't understand where the conspiracy theories are coming from.

Points should have been deducted for that elbow shot Fury threw but it wasn't. If it was, Ngannou would have walked out the winner.

Either way, I'm not mad at how it went. Politics was played to favour Fury as the champ and Ngannou did more than enough to garner interest for his next fight and might even double his pay for that fight.

Can't wait to see him face Wilder or AJ.

The man has gone from a poor, homeless Cameroon migrant to a Superstar and I'm here for it.

From day one I knew Francis would be a very tough nut to crack for fury.

But I also knew that fury would win it very closely, by split decision or unanimous decision.

There's no way the judges/ boxing council would allow a fresher beat a renowned champion, especially one that has a unification fight in a number of days.
