The Leader of Teamcolekhana and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) khana LGA, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa has urged its supporters not to be deterred by the tribunal judgement for his principal and APC gubernatorial candidate for the March 18 poll.

Speaking during an event on Saturday October 28,2023 in khana LGA, Mene Zaa has described the judgement as a miscarriage of justice , and that his principal has already challenge the ruling at the Court of Appeal.

Faulting the judgement in favour of Rivers PDP, calling it "an unfair interpretation against the will of majority of voters"

The infanry general assured of victory at the court of appeal.

“The Teamcolekhana Leadership hereby urges our dear people of khana and Rivers State not to be deterred with recent happenings in the polity as we match towards the victory of reclaiming our stolen mandate on March 18 , 2023 Governorship Election,” the statement reads.

“To look the way of pst. Tonye patrick Cole and Dr. Innocent Barikor as the next Governor and Deputy Governor respectively.

“Our dear people of Rivers , my people do not fear. Do not be discouraged. We are on course with no distractions. We will soon get there and by God Grace we will be there together .

“Our lawyers are very well on top of the situation as we expect victory at the Court of Appeal. We will win. We also hope s’court verdict will end misgivings about 2023 polls".


While urging his supporters to remain calm, the Nyokhana Political infantry General, insisted that his principal remained the rightful winner of the March 18 Governorship election in Rivers State,
adding that there was a collective victory for Cole and Rivers APC and the nation’s democracy.

His words: “I am not happy that the judgement of the tribunal didn't resolved the controversy of March 18, 2023 governorship election.

“I thank the people of the state and our dear supporters for standing by us for their courage and loyalty, I want to assure you that we are ready to continue to serve them and we will serve you soon.”

"the victory of Fubara/ PDP was never a deserving, describing Cole as “triumph of courage and perseverance, and light over the forces of darkness that sought to arrest the bad and evil governance the PDP administration delivered to the people of Rivers State under the leadership of Wike.”

“I and my supporters heartily rejoice with Pst. Tonye Cole on his much couraged and wisdom displayed so far . It is the steps of victory of light over darkness. A triumph of perseverance, courage and justice over electoral fraud and democratic perversion.

The Former Assembly aspirant for khana constituency 2 in the 2023 APC party primaries said they rejected the outcome of the tribunal judgement, “I am not happy with the tribunal’s decision and sure that it doesn't reflects the will and preference of the majority of the people of Rivers State. But I commended my Boss pst. Cole for using peaceful legal means in reclaiming of his mandate.”

High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, further appeal to supporters and Rivers people to pray for the Victory ahead and his principal .

“With Cole, Rivers had made the right choice, but I want to urge us to continue praying for him non stop, same way we pray for ourselves and our children.

“We should always put our leaders in prayers because it is not easy, but since it is a divine mandate, we trust God.

“We should continue praying to God to give him more wisdom, courage, ability, good health , especially his team of lawyers for better understanding and victory.

“Forward ever, we have won this mandate and we will reclaims it in Court. Be courageous enough and stand firm till the end . I and all of you will continue to be loyal to our party APC and pastor Tonye Patrick Cole till tomorrow and next tomorrow. Be inform that no amount of intimidation or promises will make me betray my principal".
