@Op, I will suggest you return back to a sober sleep 😴 and wake up with a better sense.
The problem and suffering of today generation of Nigeria was laid down by the so called best military government that your family and you are clamoring for.
IBB, Abacha,Abdulsalam, and all the Northern politician stole Nigeria to a state of stupour.
Massive underdevelopment of the nation, pandemic corruption in the power sector and the refineries.
The only person who want to rebuilt the cracked foundation of Nigeria economy is being abused by sore election looters and certain tribe.
Never wish nor pray for the return of military rule in Nigeria.

Don't follow him down his rabbit hole.

Someone made a precise comment which was answered with a precise factual answer and now he wants you to follow him down a moonlit desert of emotion and personal opinion.

Oh, I know. That's why I stopped reading his posts.

There are two tricks that people use quite often on Nairaland. (1) They will introduce a red herring (2) they will shift the goalpost. I stopped responding to those tricks in 2014.

You could say that the sun is shining. Then someone comes and argues with you and says that the sun is not shining. You provide incontrovertible proof that the sun is shining, then the guy now says, "The shirt is red". What the hell does that have to do with whether the sun is shining or not?

Someone said that there was nothing like importation of petroleum products during the military era. I reminded him that there was. Then a strange person comes and says that I am exaggerating. What's the exaggeration there? Either there was importation or there wasn't. So I ask him the question directly and he can't answer, instead he is babbling about some irrelevant things. It's very obvious that he is not serious at all and doesn't deserve further engagement. He is basically fleeing from his original position because he can't defend it.

I don't have time to chase people that keep shifting the goalposts and introducing red herrings. I promised myself in 2014 that I would never do it again. What I wrote should be clear to anyone with very basic education. Nobody can put words in my mouth or lead me to argue about something that I didn't say.

You see a lot of kids born in 1998 telling us that lived through draconian military rule that military rule is better.

A time when many Nigerians were cooking with sawdust because kerosene was too expensive.

A time when many Nigerians camped for several days outside the American Embassy just to get a visa appointment.

A time when University professors were associated with rickety cars because their salary was under ₦10,000.

A time when soldiers forced Nigerians to do frog-jump because they crossed the road when overhead bridge was present.

A time when "trying to travel abroad" was regarded as an occupation on It's own.

A time when suspected criminals were executed without due process.

A time when newspaper houses could not report freely.

A time when a military officer could pull out his service pistol and shoot a bloody civilian and nothing would happen.

I remember when I was warning unwise Nigerians not to ousted Jonathan because he was not as bad as being portrayed by the corrupt press. It is still the same ignorant people like this OP that shouted at me and said "anything was better that Jonathan". They bragged that if APC did not perform, they too would be voted out.

Now the same clowns are saying military government would be better than APC. Now let me tell you this for free, Tinubu is 10 times better than best military officer in Nigeria. Nigerians would fast and pray for Tinubu"s return if they taste the brutality and corruption of the Nigerian military.
A time when soldiers forced Nigerians to do frog-jump because they crossed the road when overhead bridge was present.

Is it good or bad.

You've articulated this better than I could have. You know them well. I spent so long looking for reasons why people act this way. Got into enless circuitous arguments - Its such a common trait. It must be something in the water
