House pls help me digest this matter o, how can thesame bible that said we should "cast the devil and he will flee", also advice us to " flee from fornication" (sexual lust).
I'm really perplexed at this bible verses,
If we can resist the devil and he flee but yet admonished to flee from fornication (sexual lust), Does it means that sex or the demon behind it is more powerful than the devil ?

There is no demon behind sex??

Sex is a flesh driven activity which therefore requires discipline to not be driven by all manner of lust and every sexual opportunity

Hence, the bible said u should flee because it is ur responsible to build discipline or avoid engagements that will make u fall into

How does fornication relate to the devil? Mtchew. We have dicks and we have erections. If the dick is only meant for procreation, then man should not have dick until he is married. As long as single men have active dicks, that's a license to fucck just like we use every other part of our body for other activities. He didn't want to compromise his relationship with God because he understood his relationship with Him and knew making a mess of himself will only make his situation worse off

My question still remains,
Why cant we stand against sex or all it forms
Like we do the devil ?
You-know, like kabashing , speaking in tongues and stuffs like that.

The devil makes people to sin by manipulating them, advising them and painting sinful options as pleasant options. It is the strategy he used with Eve in the garden. It is a strategy that makes sure the final decision to sin is yours so you bear full responsibility on judgement day.
You cannot flee from him per se because it is your mind he is trying to mess with, to manipulate. So the best option is to harden your mind against him and continue doing what pleases God. When the devil is not making headway with you he leaves you even if to come back later and try his luck again.

Sexual immorality is a sin that is typically committed with another person who may even be more willing to commit the sin than you. The person can lure you, get physical with you and "actively" draw you to sin in addition to the "passive" pressure in your mind from the devil. The best strategy is to flee to avoid breaking down under the pressure. That is the best way to deflate the temptations for sexual immorality.

Against the devil trying to manipulate your mind to sin, you can start praying, singing or listening to Gospel music, reading your Bible, etc. Those actions are not effective in the presence of active sexual temptation. The first rule is to flee from the vicinity of sexual temptation.
