I know the Chinese company in question. They came to alaba because of the traders who are their customers. Simple thing is to boycott them, when the goods stay in their warehouse for 3 years, no one will tell them to leave. In vespa, shops were demolished and rebuilt at cost of 1 million per shop. Those shops are lying idle. 1 Like |

Give out the rest of Alaba to the Chinese and let them come manufacture their things from there. Enough of importing all the time. These igbo people will import what their lazy ass cannot manufacture and come sell it ten times the price. Where in the world is that acceptable? 1 Like 1 Share |

kettykin: No wonder Desmond Elliot called you and your like children. You asked an infantile question, you said, what does lagos have? A sensible investor will rather invest in Lagos than any other state. Why is that? And you said, what does Lagos have. Ask your ignorant self this question, why are oil companies building their headquarters in Lagos? Why did Dangote build his refinery in Lagos? Why are people from other regions trooping to Lagos like rats every day? And you said, what does Lagos have. What's the population of Lagos, if I may ask? |

The people need to let State Governments breath, see my signature. Work with the Lagos authorities in their drive to elevate the condition of the people to world standards at the very least. |

All the land within a state is under the control of the sitting governor and he shall administer it it the way he deems fit. We welcome the appearance of Chinese on the electrons production and marketing subsector of the Lagos economy. However, anybody who is uncomfortable with this laudable project should quickly relocate out of our Lagos before they start to regret ever coming to Lagos as refugees. Actions and reactions are equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. Yorubas are the path of establishing their ownership of SW, including Lagos. |

SonOfDSoil01: There had never been since 1976. I live in Yoruba dominate areas but I can't proudly say they are quite better that Igbos. Our gutters are littered with all sort of plastics, used pampers, used electronics. These people would rather dump in gutters than to pay for waste disposal management. And if you dare talk to them, they will fight you like it is there right to make gutters dumping site. Lagos state chose to that part of Lagos like say na him dirty pass. I don write to Lagos regarding my predicament since 2018 till date them never come, all the yeye agency would read my message but them no go show. So which crime Igbo people commit wey pass the one wey I dey see for here. In fact, the only man repairing my street and the connecting streets be Igbos born n bred in Lagos. Yoruba go sit down talk n talk no action because dem no wan drop money. |

almarthins:my brother government can chose to start there work anywhere, it’s their job and we can’t dictate how and where they should start there sanctions from, and besides some Yoruba dominated market have been closed in the past and no one made much noise about it, why is it that when it affects our wailing brother they start to cry victimisation? Lagos is not for everyone, you either live by the rules or return back home lobatan. |

[quote author=SeeWahala post=126888023]This is one thing about lagos state that I hate the most They gathered their own money and came to you that they need licensing and permission to build a secretariat in YOUR OWN MARKET to help them house those that they elect, employ and appoint to administer the same market for you. Government later comes around after a few years ro demolish said secretariat just because they have a higher bidder Even if you go to court they have already compromis Ana akogheri. In somebody's land. |
