Outage Within Our Franchise Due to Strike Action

Dear Esteemed Customers,

We regret to announce that the outage being experienced in our franchise states is due to the strike embarked upon by the Nigerian Labour Congress and its affiliate unions.
The action has necessitated the shutting down of all 33KV feeders by the striking workers. We hope the impasse between the federal government and the Unions shall be resolved soonest so that power supply can be restored.
We regret all inconvenience.

Signed

Abdulazeez Abdullahi
Head, Corporate Communication.

They really do not know or deny the power in people. I read some of their comments and laff. The day Nigerians mean business is the day they will realise the men in the corridors of power are lily-livered. They only know how to abuse the power they hold in trust for us, because we don't demand accountability. PBAT himself knows he's not popular among the citizens, worst still he rode on ethnic sentiments that have seen most of his tribesmen unwittingly pitch him (and his zone) against everyone else in Nigeria. Now, that is dangerous and that's why his zombie's work on NL has become harder by the day. In their denial of the fact that they lack support outside the SW, they quickly lump every critic into the 'ibo' train.
