WHEN EVERY NIGERIAN IS INVOLVED IN BUDGET PREPARATION AND CONTROL.
WHEN TRADITIONAL RULERS ARE FULLY INVOLVED IN BUDGET PREPARATION AND CONTROL.
WHEN CIVILIAN POLITICIANS KNOW AND ADOPT FAPRES FOTCS AND CTC FOCS TRFG.

I love posts that talks about growing the country, but when that post is coming from a political bias, I know the poster is not talking for a better Nigeria but because their candidate lost election.
Obi is not a representation of a successful society talk more of a better Nigeria, he is an opportunist trying to utilize the people's agitation to satisfy his dreams. That's what u should know because u saying "luck didn't smile on Nigeria in 2023".
If u want a successful successful bring on board hands that clearly shows a better society and people will follow u.

My own sentiments exactly. The difference with successful nations of the world and failed one is that successful nations works with proven facts and reality, regardless of whose Ox is gored, while failed nations embraces fantasy and delusions.

I can understand some saying Tinubu has underwhelmed even as I personally don't agree with that given that I know the economic challenges and reality at work than most.

I would even have more brotherly respect for those critics of Tinubu if they then go on to make cogent and productive suggestions because that is how progressive Nigerians who mean well for Nigeria must behave.

What is deplorable is vindictively cursing Tinubu, in charge for only six months, every day then having the temerity to claim Obi, a factually proven failure beyond any doubt that Igbos themselves used to curse bitterly while Governor, is now our saviour.

Those are the sort of putrid, ethnocentric and disgusting display of enemy-within hatred some have for other Nigerians that makes it obvious the President who will succeed must , as a matter of urgency, depart from the discredited "one Nigeria" lunacy to give us all the latitude to control our own regional space and shape it as we see fit.

Tinubu must facilitate regional autonomy and abrogate failed and discredited "one Nigeria" asap.

All the senseless back and forth argument many engage in daily here have a simple solution. Give every Nigerian the regional freedom to make the best of themselves and their human/material resources unencumbered by others.

"One Nigeria" has only bred indolent lack of productivity and absence of innovation and competitiveness that has now become our national culture.

We have Nigerian States bigger and far more endowed, per material resources, than the likes of Finland, Iceland, Switzerland etal regularly voted the best places to live in the world.

The reason such well-endowed States, and even Nigeria in general, fail is that no Nigerian is looking inward anymore.

Despite having a lot to use in developing ourselves at State and regional level, we all just brandish begging bowls and insults towards Abuja. Will Igbos keep shouting "FG must fund dry port in SE" under regional Government? No way because no one will entertain that noise..

Will the North, minus the slush fund of Abuja and oil money, dare to continue spurning their biggest asset, I.e human resources, by continuing to keep the average Northerner illiterate and unproductive? They dare not as they will suffer seriously doing that under regional government.

Can the SW continue the laxity in their own system that sees them ignoring the opportunities in their own land the entire Nigeria is trooping in to feast on? Of course not. They must get proactively productive and competitive to retain control over the direction of their own region.

Will the middle belt continue treating agriculture as an afterthought when it's scientific development can make the region very rich and self-sufficient in less than ten years of regional governance?

Under regional Governance, the cumulative indolence of leaders and citizens that has made Bayelsa a virtually failed State, even though an oil producing state with a small population and 13% derivation, would be the problem of the SS region to fix and not for Nigeria to keep bailing out.
Regional autonomy will bring out the best in all while "one Nigeria" is a sure path to the death of Nigeria.

There will be no place for the indolent, hateful and bigoted to hide under regional autonomy because we will all be engrossed in trying to patriotically elevate our beloved land whereas that same love and patriotism , even if we wish to pretend otherwise, has died in many for our nation Nigeria a long time ago.

This then brings us to Tinubu. He is the only Governor who bucked that "one Nigeria" crack addiction by seeking to use the endowment of Lagos to make Lagos great and self-sufficient because he believes States should seek self-sufficiency from within.

Ironically, he is now villifed the most by the people who , since 1999, have not produced a single Governor fit to wipe the feet of Tinubu and his successors.

Woke Nigerians just need to put constant and unrelenting pressure on Tinubu to actualize his plan for restructuring and regional autonomy he promised. That is all we need because we know even a wizard or Jesus cannot perform any abracadabra or miracle in our "one Nigeria" structure.

I personally only voted for and campaigned for Tinubu because of my belief he is the only Southerner that can deliver regional autonomy that then gives those who are truly ready for success and 100% desirous of it to go on to truly fly and excel.

You're the shallow minded person if you truly believe that Obi is the solution to Nigeria's problems when nothing in his very well-documented leadership history of monumental failure remotely hints at this.

In fact, whereas Tinubu revolutionised the security of Lagos State creating and funding RRS, Obi has the unenviable record of hosting the most blood-curdling unit of SARS in our entire nation.

SARS was bad and about extortion, kidnapping, theft etc yet it was only in Anambra that Awkuzu SARs under the demonic James Nwafor, a pal and affiliate of Obi, that SARs metamorphosed into an evil unit that killed human beings to harvest their organs for sale on a human parts black market like Kpanla and Croaker fish.

To make things worse, Obi feigned ignorance of those behind the killings ( Nwafor and his boys) whereas every informed Nigerian knows that Governors, with the massive classified intelligence information available to them, know precisely what is happening in every corner of their State and those behind it.

For example, Godogodo was known to Fashola and marked for take-down because of his criminality and killing that was traumatising Lagos. In contrast, and till today, Nwafor cannot be found and has disappeared into thin air.

You and most of your kinsmen are no different to the lady below. You know the monumental failure Obi is and cursed him while Governor. Yet you hypocritically hail him a messiah today because of ethnic chauvinism.

God help you people and God help Nigeria to gain regional autonomy so the SW does not have to deal with your unreasonable, hateful, bigoted and hypocritical disposition.

Why do you think the regime of Gowon abolished Regionalism and took away resource control in the first place? Because the North did not want a system that denied the political control of Nigeria

In other for Tinubu to restructure Nigeria l, he will have to take on the entire political structure of the North, most of whom dont want to hear anything called restructuring. Tinubu has no such conviction about restructuring

Precisely. Some have now become traders selling 'blame potion' to gullible, poorly educated and economically/socially unsophisticated Nigerians to villify member of the ethnic group they blame for Obi and his ethnic group not being in charge of Nigeria right now.

Is Obi's record in government hidden or unknown for some to now be able to justify making him a messiah today when history damns him a leadership failure and mediocrity?

What we all forget is that charity begins at home. There is a lot that focused people can do at regional level to see them succeed and defy the reality of Nigeria they love to condemn yet are not ready to act and change.

The truth is that it will be more profitable for all Nigerians, those who want success anyway, to push whoever is President to deliver regional autonomy so we can all be in charge of our own march towards progress or failure.

If, for example, all regions control their own resources, security, electrification, infrastructural development, industrialisation drive, manufacturing empowerment, family planning awareness, religious engagement and secularism, education and vocational training effort, tourism and hospitality drive, scientific innovation, fiscal policies etc, etc, etc then we will be able to note who are the real pace-setting leaders and the laggards who need to learn from others.

As is it currently, and until a brave President grabs the Bull by the horn to firmly push the drive for regional autonomy, we will all continue to be a menace to each other trading hateful and ethnicentric blame game cheaply and hopelessly online till eternity.
Exactly.
More regions should be possibly created especially from North Central and South South and deliver regional autonomy and we are good to go.
This is what we should be talking about.
