JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Cargo Officer

Job Summary /Objective:

The staff will be responsible for accurate contracting of waybill, assessment and shipment of waybills and ensure proper and detailed description of items at the assessment point.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technical Core Skills:

*100% inspection of items to be contracted as waybill

* Assessment of parcels/cargo to ensure acceptability in line with company policy

* Documenting/processing of waybill

* Identifying and packaging waybills accordingly

* Tagging and marking waybills appropriately

* Supervise porters on proper packaging of shipments

* Generating daily financial reports

* Able to operate Cargo simple software on Personal Computer

At least 1year working in a cargo/courier/logistics company

- A minimum of OND or its equivalent in any field.
