Yes,banks do tell us to save money but have u ever ask yourselves do banks save money themselves?

If any bank save the way we religiously save our money,I bet u,many of them wouldn't be in the system anymore.

My reason is that,no-one can survive just by saving money except u invest ur money.

Most of the banks buy up treasury bills,buy up bonds and Cp including that of Dangote and MTN and Sukuk bonds.

Why then should we save our money?

money is not saved in bank till eternity, money is saved for a particular purpose and duration.

Money is always tied to something,we keep the money in the bank to avoid the temptation of misappropriation.

Bank didn't tell you to keep your money with them till eternity.
