On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu sanctioned a 50% reduction in the cost of interstate travel for Nigerians during the festive season, spanning from Thursday, December 21, 2023, to January 4, 2024. Concurrently, the President approved complimentary rides for passengers using all train services throughout this designated period. The announcement was made by Mr. Dele Alake, the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, during a briefing with State House Correspondents at the Aso Rock Villa on Wednesday.
