The inaugural gathering of the Oroki Crystals Club took place in Osogbo, showcasing the philanthropic efforts of a group of influential individuals who founded this esteemed social club one year ago. The club, boasting twenty-seven members, convened for its maiden physical meeting on December 23, 2023, in the state capital, Osogbo. Notably, members from the UK and Canada made significant journeys to participate in this momentous occasion.

In his opening address, Engr. Muideen Bello, the Acting President, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, expressing appreciation for their dedication and resilience. He acknowledged the challenges posed by the current economic climate in the country and offered a prayer for the well-being of every member.

During the meeting, the club formally ratified its constitution, with virtual participation from members in the diaspora. Speaking to the media, Acting President Engr. Muideen Bello elucidated on the club's mission, emphasizing its commitment to harnessing the success of members to benefit the Osogbo community. He highlighted the club's dedication to supporting members in need, both financially and morally.

Engr. Bello clarified the club's apolitical stance, affirming neutrality towards any governing party. He urged members to demonstrate heightened commitment and mutual support, emphasizing the importance of fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.

Key officeholders within the Oroki Crystals Club include Engr. Muideen Bello as Club President, Comrade Adebowale Adekola as Vice President, Barr. Adewale Daodu as General Secretary, Engr. Salami Abiodun Olalekan as Treasurer, Komolafe Olalekan as Social Secretary, Oyebanji Taiwo as Assistant General Secretary, and Pharm. Ropo Ogunwale as Publicity Secretary.
