SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH, SENATOR UCHE EKWUNIFE JOIN VICE-PRESIDENT KASHIM SHETTIMA AND CHAIRMAN SOUTH-EAST GOVERNORS FORUM, HOPE UZODIMMA TO BID GOVERNOR SOLUDO’S FATHER FAREWELL

The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, and the Director-General of South-East Governors Forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, on Saturday, joined the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, GCON to celebrate the life of the late father of Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
Speaking briefly at the funeral ceremony of the deceased, Pa Simeon Soludo which took place at Community Secondary School Field, Isuofia, Senator Ubah appreciated God for his grace upon him throughout his lifetime and prayed for the repose of his soul.

Speaking further at the event which was also attended by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje; Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum, South-East Governors Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma; Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun; Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso; the Igwe of Nnewi, His Royal Highness Igwe Dr Kenneth Orizu III and the Member representing Nnewi North State Constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Sir Augustine Onyekachukwu Ike, Senator Ubah described the deceased as a man of principle and prayed for more blessings upon his family.

Responding, Governor Soludo appreciated the dignitaries for celebrating his late father and prayed for more divine grace and protection upon them. The deceased who passed on at the age of ninety-two is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and relatives.

May heaven rest his soul.
