I've been wondering why these two states, Benue and Plateau, have not established their own 'Amotekun', 'ESN' and so on.

It should be No 1 priority there.

I don't think it's cowardice of the people.

There are boys there that are ready to join any vigilante group that's well-funded and supported by the state govt.

Why haven't they done this?

How can they just let themselves be sitting ducks to illiterate herders?

Maybe they are not United

It was all Yoruba states that united to form Amotekun

ESN too is Igbo

Those places u mentioned are filled with different tribes

Worst still they are minorities at the mercy of nearest majority

The middle belt guys are very close to the Northers, so it will be very difficult to stop the herdsmen..

Land mass is also an issue..

Even if it is difficult, what's the alternative?

To do nothing?

They simply have to organise themselves to stop those herdsmen. .

I listened to the Plateau State Governor on TV about the massacre, he sounded helpless, instead for him to join the voice for state police. They need state police more than anyone else.

All they need to do is copy and paste the template for amotekun.

I just don't see how rational people cannot see the need to cast aside their differences and unite to save themselves from terrorist killers.

It's just basic common sense!

If they are determined (Put there differences aside) they will stop the killings and takeover their land.
