Hello everyone! My name is Audrey and I'm a graduate of the University of Manitoba here in Winnipeg, MB. I attended the University on a fully funded scholarship but i found that when I first started my application process, I had no idea how to go about finding a supervisor with an opening in their lab, submitting my CV and letter of intent, etc. Once I was able to muddle through this and gain acceptance, I was disappointed to see how little black representation there is in academia here in Canada. To try and pass on the things I learned during my application process as well as try and play my part to increase representation, I've started CanGrad Education Services as a way to provide guided, step-by-step application assistance to those who need it.
