Yes you can get companion and true love without being married. Marriage is important, but don't go into it with Nollywood love. It an institution of unending selflessness, forgiveness, sacrifice, tolerance, and so much much more. In many parts of the world, even in Nigeria, lots of people are common law partners, and there are laws that protect such unions. Many of the 90s Nigerian couple only did traditional marriage rites, and have no court marriage for example. It's also the same in most place in the underdeveloped world. 5 Likes |
