Obasanjo had his imperfections,one of which I assume is believing he knew it all and others were beneath or did not key into his vision,but he has been the best president Nigeria has had since this Republic.
He laid the foundations of many of the institutions and framework of governance Nigeria is now using.

Comparing YarAdua and Buhari in terms of integrity is like comparing peanut butter and sour margarine.
I believe Tinubu may eventually sack Edu,but the challenge will be if he can keep up with the sackings because there is no doubt this goverment will rival Buhari's in terms of the looting that will take place.

Edu uncovered a 40bn fraud by her predecessor, instead of to follow up and prosecute all involved, she was indicted in an alleged approval, that was channeled through official procedure, and that same procedure was used extensively by the ministry all these time.
The said private account, is that of the Project Accountant who is the last stage of the disbursement, the money is not yet disbursed.
We only quote laws when we want to nail someone who doesn't want to "play book".

why did she write to the accountant general to make payment of the said amount into a private account which is against civil service laws?

He shielded Oduah for more than 5 months after her indictment in using funds belonging to NCAA to purchase two BMW Cars for herself at $1.6 million. The purchase was not appropriated for, and the cost was overbloated. Calls for him to ease her were rebuffed by him until February 2014.

Similarly, Diezani was indicted by a Whistle-blower for spending N2bn to fly private jet from NNPC resources in August 2013, she was later indicted in March 2014 by House of Representatives for spending N10bn for private jet hire. Jonathan didn't sack her! What about the accusations against Aruma Otteh of SEC? You see, perception matters. Jonathan keeping them in his government made people believed that he was in bed with corruption and weapons iced opposition. This unfortunately blinded people from the economic achievements of his government.

Jonathan, Buhari and now Tinubu never addressed gross misconduct of officers in their government.

Let wait and read the report of the committee assigned to investigate her ministry first. I guess in the process, the PBAT and his cabinets will be looking for another person with integrity to replace her with if and only if she is found guilty.

The government have eyes in each ministries. If not how did the document got to the public domain. The document has no letter headed of the ministry.

This will make other MDAs to sit up and disseminate money meant for execution of projects to be put in use appropriately not doctored documents as always be presented.

All these campaign is based on the letter seeking approval not that the money has been paid.

That hussaini Akwanga, the man doesn't eat alone though. Even though he was corrupt, he was a cheerful giver. My guys in FCDA that year we're always saying nice things about the man.
But looking at the past, Obasanjo was the most serious when it came to fighting corruption. Even though alot of corruption went under his nose.
Buhari we thought would be more serious, just came and disappointed. Man was even pardoning convicted politicians.
