Britain is on the verge of launching airstrikes in Yemen as Rishi Sunak signs off on a drastic response after Iran-backed Houthi rebels ignored a 'final warning'.

The Prime Minister summoned his top team to a virtual emergency meeting from Downing Street this evening where he briefed them on the plans, with Foreign Secretary David Cameron seen entering No10.

The Mail understands F-35B Lightning stealth jets based at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus are being readied for an imminent strike.

These aircraft were expected to play a key role in the air strikes likely to target Houthi rocket launcher sites and command and control facilities.

British drones equipped with lethal RX-9 were also primed, it is understood.

US President Joe Biden is expected to make a statement after the military strikes tonight.

Downing Street declined to comment ahead of what is expected to be a significant military operation led by the United States.

But Whitehall sources confirmed that Mr Sunak is ready to sign off military reprisals against the Houthis, who have launched a string of attacks on merchant shipping in the Red Sea in recent weeks.

Iran doesn't stand a chance against US.
But there are other ways of doing things. Do you know the number of US Military personnel Iranian backed rebels in Iraq, Syria and Yemen have killed that triggered Soleimani's killing?
Iran is causing a lot of problem to the US in middle East that's why the US and its allies have been heaping sanctions on Iran, probably because military action may have consequences that no one can fore tell.
