With the harsh words pronounced by the Supreme court on the Plateau state elections, the appeal court justices that sacked the DULY ELECTED PDP PSHA members should be sacked. Those irresponsible judges denied duly elected members their rights and by so doing handed victory to losers.

The problem of Nigeria has remained lack of accountability. For example if a DPO is held accountable for robbery in his catchment area, robbery would reduce. In same vein if an Area commander is accountable for every kidnapping in his domain, they would ensure safety and security of lives and properties.

Now if judges are held accountable for their miscarriage of justice as it happened in Plateau, those justices will sit up. Our laws are replete with multiple cases wherein the Supreme court avered that "it amounts to meddlesome interloper for any party to dabble into internal affairs of another", especially when such is not because of crisis at national level. Yet some justices, knowing the House of Assenbky cases do not proceed beyond the court of appeal ruled out duly elected members.

My submission is that those justices need to either step down honorably or NJC should try them for corruption. As a nation, people should begin to be punished for their sins. Judges should be blamed and punished when they are found to have been negligent of their responsibilities. In sane countries, some of our judges do not merit being higher than customary court judges.

Secondly, there is therefore a need to review the constitution to allow all level of political office holders the option to seek redress up to the apex court.

The lower courts have paralysed the governor.

Working with a 100% APC House of Assembly isn't going to be easy

The governor should be smart enough to induce them with enough money and they will decamp to PDP immediately
