[b]I arrived at onitsha 2:12pm from Nsk, i didnt want to enter Peace mass transit again , so i took my luggage and head straight to upper iweka where they load benin motors. With my bag hanged on my shoulder, many people rushed me near where luxurious buses are loading.
What i heard next was; Bros, na Abuja? Nasarawa , i said No, he asked again where, i told him that i know where am heading to.
Next another man rushed me, Bros where you de go? I tell am makr he no worry say i know where i de go, next he wan touch my bag, i tell am to avoid me. He listened and left.

I got close to Faith motors park at upper iweka and one man in his 60's approched me, he asked me, Na benin you de go, come make i show you where you go enter motor, i tell am say i know my way, he insisted and followed me to the park.
He say this people na 4000 naira, buy ticket for there, i told him No ,say i no like the bus wey de load. He said another place dey oo, make i go show you but na 5000 naira them de collect. I said okay, he took my bag from me and i followed him. We reached the second one, i no still like their bus, he say another one de. He took me there and the said 5000 naira.
I say i no go enter say i no de rush, as i turned back carry my bag, i moved a step and someone held my bag and said come enter motor before these boys go rob you.
I turn make i know who hold my bag, somebody come chuk hand for my front pocket to move my phone, unto say the phone wide, e hang for jean.
I just quietly leave my bag,i turned and one dirty looking guy with ear ring standing for my front, i pull out my belt, i fold am.
I wipe am for head, wipe am again. He rushed 2 by 2 wood. I picked a big stone, He ran away.
I come de vibrate de let them know say i be street boy for ring road for benin.[/b]

He come back come de para. My eyes dey my bag , the old man de guide am, i carry stone pursue am make i break him head , he move.
The women inside the bus come de happy de shout, beat am well, na criminal.
Some bus loaders come de beg me make i forget about the guy, They carry me go another park close to that one.
Na my bag my eyes fix, them put my bag untop motor make i for de see am well, the guy go gather fellow agberos, one come de mend, say why i go use belt hit that guy, i tell am say make he shut up say if he near me i go hit am too. The people for the new bus come tell the guy make he shut up, he left.
Passengers come beg me make i enter inside bus go sit down. Make i no follow them talk again.
I obeyed them. The agbero wey i beat dey para say he must break my head , say if i get mind make i come down.
I laugh, i tell am say i de ground since and fear no let am near me.

Our fellow paseengers say make i no reply them again, the guy de boil, 3rd Agbero guy come.meet me,
He said, so na you hit that guy with belt, say if them no provide me, say our bus no go move.

I reply him, i tell am say make he get out ,say this bus go move and he no go do anything. He de shout, I come down come stand for him front. I tell am make he snap me, come ring road for benin , show people, them go tell am who i be.
Some guys hold am comot.
I went inside the bus , another peaceful agbero come, he say make i tell the guy sorry for hitting him with belt. I said No i cant, make e ask the guy whetin him hand de do for my pocket,say if i tell am sorry. E show say i don admit say i de wrong.
Everybody for bus echoed yes no tell am sorry , make he go die.

As our bus wan load bags, i come down make i come secure my bag, he started coming towards me, i look my back come see heavy stone, i bend down, he went back .

He stand there for 1hr 20 mins till our bus load finish, he de look me, he no fit work again, . Our bus wan move, the 3rd Agbero come meet me for window, he said, Mpa you wan go na. I tell am say everywhere good, the bini girl wey de near me bring money give me , i add money join am, i pass am through window to the Agbero , The one i beat say he no go collect, the other guy just pass the money to the woman wey de sell action bitters.
He turn back come tell me safe journey.

Na so i take use street credibility take defeat Agberos for onitsha.

Soludo, Agbero too much for onitsha.

Reduce them please.

I don't just get it, a young man will just wake up and abandon any legit thing to do and opt to be wearing rags, drinking/smoking one nonsense or the other. Then he'll go about constituting nuisance in any location he finds his act favourable to him.

You get luck say na mere pick pocket wey no get crew...

Reason I don't like dropping or taking bus from Onitsha to Lagos either from Lagos to awka or from awka to Lagos . I can't fight ooh

I enjoyed every bit of this thriller, I already imagined everything. Those Onitsha agbero guys are the worst! You really tried. Kudos💪

I've been to all the southern states except cross river and I can boldly say that Onitsha Agbero are the crudest ones you can ever encounter, Not even PH or Lagos own come close.

I had a terrible experience with them on my way to Akwa Ibom for my NYSC some years back. I alighted from a Benin car hoping to find an Uyo car in the garage unfortunately I couldn't find anyone so I approached a guy that was standing nearby and he promised to take me there for a fee, I agreed.

This guy took me to a car park and told the driver I was heading to Uyo, the driver didn't budge(red flag, but I didn't see it). The guy told me my fare was 7k for the trip, which I confirmed from the other passengers and they confirmed it. I gave him 8k including the earlier agreed charges.

When the car was full, the driver came into the car and declared he would be stopping at Owerri, So everyone in the car got down and started approaching the agbero for a refund not knowing his cliques were lurking around.

Immediately about 20 guys just rounded us up and started beating everyone(including the driver) except I, Because I quickly sense the atmosphere and I immediately gave the agbero an additional 1k which averted my own beating.

That was how I paid 9k from Onitsha to Owerri which shouldn't have cost more than 1k on a normal day. My advice to everyone is to just avoid alighting at Onitsha while on transit because these people doesn't spare or respect anybody including their tribesmen

Agberos are all the same everywhere in Nigeria

One time I was inside Marwa heading somewhere along the bariga road in Lagos, when we got to the exact location where murtala Muhammad was assassinated the marwa stopped to drop some passengers, unfortunately for him he needed change so he stepped outside his marwa to look for change leaving only me in the marwa

I was focused on my phone until someone shouted and hit the marwa to gain my attention

Anyone that knows Bariga very well knows that murtala na very dangerous place to be 3-4 years ago, that place is crawling with riff raffs and dirty Igbo smoking and ogogoro drinking agberos

I Jejeli put hand for pocket give this guy 500H, I wasn’t interested in long talk or unnecessary drama that will alert his cohorts

Could you believe this guy rejected it nd told me na 5k he wan collect otherwise he will stab me right ther and run away and nothin go happen. Na one my head tear, this one wan run me street for this same Lagos?

Na once I pocket my money acting like I wanted to add more, he thought he had me, I maneuvered outside the marwa to stand in front of him, the moment he saw my height liver weak am, I saw the surprise in his face, so I used the opportunity to display my own crassness and agbero tendencies, hoping his colleagues won’t be attracted to the scene, cos he go cast and I might not have the last laugh
I moved a step closer dippin my hand inside my back pocket na once the guy move

The element of surprise was on my side, because he was shocked how I could switch within few seconds

I have Stay in Lagos, O boi Onitsha agbero no be here, then go run you street in front of Police and nothing will happen. I could remember when I was serving in Ozubulu Ekwusigo Lga, I was backing my Laptop, this guy just forceful open my bag. Lucky I turn back to see what was happening. Na so the guy pick race, funny enough police dey standing dey look the guy. Upper Iweka I hate that place. But aside Ontisha I like Akwa and Nnewi

Fact is that the menace of upper iweka agboro has been reduced much by some of obiano men. If this was early last year, e go dey bloody oo.
