Corruption has finally killed Nigeria. The more you see the less you see. There's so much padding inside the loan that many don't know yet. The oil industry has so much rot going on within it. How many people still remember the Heritage Oil deal struck by late Abba Kyari? They used 6 billion dollars fake investment to swindle Nigerians. Shishi the Saudi Crown Prince no bring to the table. It's still yielding fruits for prominent Northerners till today. Nigeria was sold out many years ago. It's a bare fact! 1 Like |

Obierika: According to TheCable, Nigeria has committed to delivering a total of 164.25 million barrels of crude oil, at a rate of 90,000 barrels per day, from 2024 onwards to settle the loan through Project Gazelle Funding Ltd, an βorphanβ special purpose vehicle (SPV) incorporated in the Bahamas for the PxF. Do the math of 164.25 million barrels at the current rate per barrel and read the last part of the condition if Nigeria defaults 164.25 million barrels x 76usd = twelve billion four hundred eighty-three million USD for how much loan with this type of condition on top, so Nigeria might likely lose over 9 billion dollars of revenue because of a loan of 3 billion dollars with such terms involved... https://africa.businessinsider.com/local/markets/nnpcl-receives-over-dollar2-billion-oil-for-cash-loan-from-afreximbank-and-uba/4lqjwrw?op=1 |

Re: NNPCL Deal: Repaying $3.3bn Loan With $12bn Crude Oil By FG Is Puzzling! - Atiku by nairalanda1(m): 4:54pm On Jan 28 |
The problem with the deal is that the government is taking another loan at 'desperate terms'...instead of taking the hard decisions like rasing the tax to gdp, diversifying the economy....because for APC, good economic decisions means losing power. SO, loans. Every government, PDP inclusive, has taken loans, instead of taking the hard way to diversify the economy. At the end, they care more about power, than about good economic practice. Atiku that is talking is part of the problem...he helped bring in APC. I honestly don't know. Goverment of freebies, by freebies...without a thought of tomorrow. |
