Which language should I start with. I would love to add Java to my skills but I want to start with cross platform. So I am looking to start with flutter. I hope I am in the right direction.

Yes start with Flutter, but If you can afford a Macintosh laptop. Then buy it & include iOS development in your learning because you will be constantly required to write custom platform-specific code for iOS.

Buy Mac M1 or Mac M3 u could even use Kotlin compose with KMP to build cross-platform app for Android and iOS or even spring boot for web In Kotlin. If you don't want to learn Kotlin ; dart and flutter is another option .

Apple will definitely going to faze out support of xcode older Mac because it will only develop lower version of Mac and iOS . iOS 17.4 and Cocoapod which requires macOS Sonoma 14

One more vote for Flutter. I think it's a great direction to take. It allows you to utilize your future Java skills while building apps that run on both Android and iOS platforms. If you're looking for guidance and support in your mobile development journey, consider reaching out to a reputable software development company. I can recommend addressing gearlaunch customer service for details. They can provide you with expertise, resources, and a tailored approach to help you succeed. Anyway, I wish you good luck!

I also think that starting with Flutter is indeed a good choice. It is gaining popularity and offers a single code base for both Android and iOS apps.

It is a good choice but u can only develop android and flutter web on windows . U will need Mac and xcode for iOS development.
