“How did you know you weren't going to get the job during your job interview” 😂

Re: Share Your Interview Experience In The Comments by Hector90(m): 1:27pm On Feb 20
I went for one interview, the questions they were asking me seems strange, I was like, is this questions even related to my field?.
I felt bad and took revenge by lashing out on the interviewers

I went for a job interview in maitama some yrs back, it was a small organisation (looks like a start up).

I was referred to them by a friend. The HR saw me and asked if I was the owner of the car parked outside, I said yes.

He requested for my original document, perused them for few minutes, returned them to me and told me they gonna get back to me.

I didn't hear from them till date. I already knew I won't hear from them sha undecided

As my interview was ongoing, the HR lady received a phone call from her boss telling her to pause the interview and discharge me.. Apparently, their preferred applicant changed his mind and decided to take the job..Her phone speaker during the call was quite loud...

We were 8 candidates , after the interview we all chatted and that’s when I knew they all were experienced about the job, I had no experience

They asked me to go that I would hear from them. This is over 10 Years ago.
I am yet to hear from them.
The truth is that 70% of jobs people do today comes with no interview. Someone would just introduce you and you have got a job.

My first interview experience was a disgrace to me, my personality and my proficiency.

I was interviewed for a role of graduate trainee in a microfinance bank in Lagos. I myself knew my answers to the questions were just too much of blunders.
Abi, questions like "what can you do for the bank?" And I "I will propagate the name of the bank to make people know about the bank". Does that make sense? At a point, the other hr personal interviewing me put his head on the table and slept off. The other woman was really enjoying my 'blunderful' answers and I later turn it to cruise too. The woman woke the man off and was like 'just 5 minutes you have slept off, is it because this candidate is doing well?' she asked him if he has a question to ask me and responded that no question. So she faced me and said ' we will get back to you' and I answered 'i know you people will not call me again, no dey lie give me' we all burst out in loud laughter and I left.

The interviewer was just yearning. I had to ask if he wanted to take the interview some other time. I wish I could upload his video

I went for a job interview once and the interviewer gave me homework to do before they will let me know if I will be considered for the job. They wanted me to make a presentation that would've taken at least week to complete. Then I would present in front of them, if they like it, I move on to another level of interviews with the higher-ups.

They won't even tell me what the starting salary would be. But I should waste my time preparing a presentation without any assurance of gaining employment on top of maybe 30k a month job (2015). That was the day I swore never to work for anyone and I've been self employed ever since.

When I wore an APC Cap to the interview last week.

I used the cap to shield myself from the sun so sun no go beat me forget weytin I cram for the interview.

Na so I forget to comot the cap before I enter the interview hall. At the interview session the recruiter was complaining how the present economy hardship have impacted the company business.

At the point....I know say I don mess up.
