Cement: N13, 500.

Building a house for the common man has been tarnished. How can someone earning below N100k build a house when he cannot even afford to build a complete cement bag to mould blocks?

Fuel: N1000/litre.

Car parked. I got my Legxus to navigate through the humble pedestrians.

What about you?

Cement is #9000 in Ibadan and fuel is #620. Where are you buying fuel for #1000?

It's now a pastime for Nigerians to pray for more inflation so that they can talk about it.

The government is failing seriously but I'm beginning to think the people themselves are guilty of profiteering.
We are hurting one another.

Any government, whether in Nigeria, USA, Germany etc can always do better. I agree with you on that.

No government anywhere is immune from widespread dissatisfaction. Infact, the majority of people in the US, Germany, UK etc absolutely detests their current leaders.

As to your claim that the government is 'failing seriously,' it would be helpful if you could share your reasons for their failure as you say.

What do you think they seriously need to be doing now that they're not doing. You never know, people from government may be on Nairaland.

They might just get a timely expo from your brilliant ideas.

Please we are waiting.

If you believe the government is doing brilliantly well, you are brilliant indeed. You can't learn from me. wink

let them put money in the system to neutralise the erosion of people's purchasing power, pay wage award to the workers and pensioners and palliative to the vulnerable as they promised, pay pension arrears, pay debt to contractors, this will increase aggregate demand ,increase production ,and ultimately employment, it put live to the dull economic activities, there are products but purchasing power is weak, not hoarding be problem

Tinubu knows this but not interested in doing it why would he direct stare governors along this line and he refused to do the one within his purview, I think he just wants to set the governors up to direct attention to them too
