Considering the current state of the nation, what would you do? Be sure to cover issues such as Boko Haram, fuel subsidy etc . . .

What would you do about the policemen in the nation? Healthcare? the Economy?? etc

Remember you have 1(!!) week . . .

p.s. im aware that similar topics have been posted in the past . . . just bare with me =D

1. I will deploy all military hardware away from the North (to make sure they dont use it to do blood party when I split Nigeria).
2. I will call for a National Conference and tell South East and South South to insist on seperation or at least regionalisation. I will also tell Middle Belt to insist on Regionalisation. With Middle Belt calling for regionalisation and the fear of South South/South East pulling out of Nigeria, the West and the Core North will be forced to accept regionalisation.
3. The confab will abolish the presidentail system. We shall only have a secretary general at Abuja. Each of the regions, will control their resources, have their own police, etc.

Stock my account with enough fund so that I won't lack money again after the one week.

1. Rid away with senate, house, LGAs and lower the slary of governors to 2 million a year. Lower mine to 0.
2. Deal with boko Haram and negotiate with them.
3. fix refineries and give Innoson, and Zinox money for factories and more jobs. I would have Innoson design commercial cars and tractors.
4. Install different types of energy around Nigeria to have 24/7 light for everyone.
5. Fix the roads.
6. Invest capital into farms and be the bread basket of the world.
7. Build 2-5 new universities in each state that are internally compettable. Also upgrade the research allowance.
8. I would not accept foreign aid or international help because they would want to intervene.

Yes, this would take longer than a week I know, but I would start all of them. But if I did this then millions of people willl be hired for jobs. Less crime, more productivity and more happiness. smiley

there very little you can do in 1 week so all those shouting deal with boko haram and build roads etc are joking.you can only set the ball rolling and hope the next guy can continue it.
i would issue the a presidental decree that allows me to arrest all ex - presidents and their ministers and have them investigated for stealing but then my week will expire and the next guy will probably just release them.

I agree that a week is not enough time to fully see the results of decisions that can be made. What about sending the military into dangerous zones in the North and temporarily replacing police state by state with the military with the intent of sending these police officers into military training. I honestly don't know if it is reasonable or feasible. . . but mehh . . . point is, we need change and very soon.
