A man named Yusuf Bolaji, took to his Twitter handle to reveal what a friend did in preparation for her wedding which was scheduled to hold in a few weeks.

The man who seems unsatisfied by the development of things disclosed that the bride-to-be added him and 100 other people to a WhatsApp group and sent some messages later demanding 5 thousand Naria from them for her wedding to be successful.

However, before creating the group, the bride-to-be met with a couple of her friends who then decided to open a WhatsApp group and ask for support.

I don't even like that friend's contribution wareva in wedding, if any friend decided to gift you anything then it's fine.

Nigerians have learnt the distasteful art of crowd funding everything ( school fees, medical bills etc)

I will never do that. Is the groom-to-be aware of this arrangement? Never seek donations from family or friends to enable u get married. Never. Because it never ends well. Insults will follow later. As a man, if you're not financially ready to marry and your potential wife isn't ready to have a low-key wedding, do not marry. Its simple. Work within your budget.
Out of the 100 friends contributing for this Marriage, I can tell u that 98 of them are not true friends who actually love her.
