Neither do I. Very wasteful serving. I hate when people serve food like that even inside a home. Or the ones that pour a drum of stew over your rice. Minus Jevenik, it is most times a sign the food isn't sweet or of good quality.

Keep eating this regularly and no one will blame you for eating bag of cement, you will have to spend upto 10k at a go for such criticism

Not bad given the economy.
But that soup is too watery for egusi.
The ponmo is hideous. Did you enjoy it?
It wasn't so watery. Maybe it's the stew they added that made it look watery. You know stew is naturally watery.

The place was well packaged, Ac, flat screen TVs, female waiters wearing polos carrying the name of the restaurant ready to attend to you... I think that's what made increased the price of their food.

Lol I don't know why people keep pointing out the pomo 😂🤣

I believe it's just how they cut it. The food was generally ok..You know I don't know how to criticize food like Sukkot. Whatever tastes good in my mouth is ok by me regardless of how it tastes in another person's mouth.

Maybe it's the way they serve their food. I believe those buying takeaway would enjoy it more cos they can always make extra garri and eat with the remaining soup.

I miss this restaurant.
I never knew they were in lagos. Jeez, they are good. Discovered them 2010 in wuse 2
I go there for afang soup.

Pls, they should port to onitsha so that I will not enter kitchen anytime I'm in town. I hope they do dispatch too.

So I was hungry and decided to branch at restaurant to eat. I asked them for a plate, they told me ₦2,800. I told them to bring.

The food was impressive in size and quality. I ate to my satisfaction. But the price seemed a little on the high side.

Hahaha. Jevenik gives hungryman portions and they are in Lagos on Isaac John Str, Ikeja. Their afang and assorted is bae. It has been a while though. I should make out time to visit for their fisherman soup.

It's really wasteful

Imagine serving a meal with amount of soup enough for five meals . Craazzzzyyy.

Lol

Stop being irrational, in most big resturant the soup is charged differently per spoon, esp. ones well garnished,

moreover is it not best regardless of customers intake, the soup outlast the swallow portion,
what is crazzzyyy, is for soup to finish and the customer as to push down the remaining eba with bottle water undecided
if soup remain i go carry am up drink am, poco or whuever can faint fr all i care undecided undecided

Which big restaurant charges per spoon?

Jevenik? Nostalgia? Slow? VSP? Coah? Lydia's Place?

You must think big restaurant is KFC, The Place and abula joints. Big restaurants do not charge per spoon. They simply sell a plate. However, they are generous with FRESH soup serving and are always ready to pack the remainder for you.
