Hi everyone. This is going to be a long one but I desperately need your help.

On Saturday , March 2, I wanted to send money out of my access bank account. I had been getting too many debits on my funds and I wanted to move them out without any more unnecessary charges, so as I usually did, I wanted to send them to a Sportybet acoxunt and then from there send it to my Opay or another account, as they weren't bringing up receiver's details for me to complete a direct transfer.

The amount was 68,840 Naira.

After doing that, I was debited but the Sportybet account was never credited. I spoke to Sportybet customer care and they informed me that the Bank and yet to send any funds to them. When I went back to my app, I discovered that I was unable to generate a receipt for the transaction that they claimed was successful. That's what usually happens when the transaction fails and the funds will soon be reversed.

They told me an update will be provided in 24-48 working days, i.e by 6:00pm today. This afternoon, an update was provided with only the words 'Transaction was Successful' and they closed the case. I spoke to Sportybet again, they confirmed that they never received any funds.

This evening, I tried another transaction liwk this from my bank. The exact Sportybet number, no mistakes at all last time or this time. And it was successful now. I can generate a receipt, and QUICKTELLER even sent be a receipt.

I have no access to an Access Bank branch in my current location, and they are not replying my emails on time. Has anyone here experienced something similar? What do you suggest that I do?

You had to open a new account to post this.
Without going back and forth, I will ask you,
If your transaction was legitimate, Why did you not move the funds from access bank to Opay?

Of course you won't, you had to cover your tracks with sporty... That's 2020 to 2021 hottest scam way to move people's funds na

Didn't you read? I was trying to send it to Opay but the recipient's name and details weren't popping up for more than 2 hours

If you don't have anything to contribute you can just keep your mouth shut. Move what funds? Who told you everyone is into scamming in this country?

And by the way, just because I've not used this account before doesn't mean it's new. I mostly read on this site
