When Bismillahir-Rahamanir-Rahim was revealed, the clouds gave way, winds ceased blowing, the oceans became calm , the creatures prepared themselves to listen, Shaytan got pelted with fire from the heavens and Allah swearing an oath by His Honor, Declared; Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim upon anything , i will surely impart blessing on it.

Equally important is that whenever the Angel Jibril used to bring revalation to Prophet Muhammad SAW, he used to first recite Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim.

Meanwhile it is difficult to give an exhaustive benefits of the recitation of Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim. Apart from beign part of every chapter of the Holy Quran(except the chapter of repentance Surah at Tawba, it is also the most oft repeated verse in the Holy Quran.

There are 3 names of Allah in Bismillahir-Rahmanir Rahim

1. ALLAH: which is His personal name indicating that all projects can only be initiated by the will and wish of Allah.

2. KIND: which is His attributive name indicating that only Allah can keep that project intact and in-existence(guarding it against destruction).

3. MOST MERCIFUL: Which is also His attributive name indicating that only Allah can, through His Mercy and grace, enable any person derive benefit from whatever one lays his hand upon. This clearly probes that any project whatsoever beginning with Bismillahir Rahamanir Raheem will be granted blessings from the beginning till the end.

Note that any Supplication beginning with Bismillahir Rahamanir Raheem is not rejected. Therefore, recitation of it before commencement of Anything serves as a barrier and safety against any evils whatsoever from evil spirits and evil doers.

In light of the above it is recommended you recite Bismillahir Rahamanir Raheem 101 times, at anytime of the day, or before supplicating For special protection and everyday success. Ma salam to you all my fellow Nairalander.
