its very possible the land is fertile and the farmers are ready to work, ebonyi is capable of producing 2milion bags of rice every year if well funded that will be enough to feed the entire southeast for a year, let there be light and let there be food.

it is good to build roads to convey those products even though the productive aspects and economic well-being of the people should have also been put side by side when using borrowed loans to build roads that create avenues for embezzlements.
Reason aba has more prospects in the future.yes there is not much roads in aba compared to ebonyi but there is sure a wide aray of prospective production companies springing up here and there that will boost the standard of living in the near future and that is what matters the most.

The whole of ebonyi state can be turned into a very huge rice farm with rice mills that would churn out cheap source of rice , 2m bags would yield almost N100b to N140b , this alone would boost economic activities in the east.

The whole Aba should be turned into a huge shoe , leather, food processing industry, making 10% of the shoes needs of Europe and America will make Aba the richest in Africa . This alone will bring in more than $10b

Enugu coal plants should be rehabilitated and powered to boost rice mills in ebonyi, imo gas and energy Field which is about the biggest should be turned on to power a gas driven economy of the east which i estimate at more than. $5b, while the automobile, pharmaceutical hub in Anambra should be turned to power the drug , the automobile and pharmaceutical requirements alone is more than $10b of automobile requirements of Africa.

The east is on another level, what is needed is focus and determination.

Bank of Agriculture is there. They should go and take loan if what you are saying is true. Federal government has been giving rice farmers loan since Buhari time. Didn't rice farmers in Ebonyi get any?
