What If The Ijaws Decide To Resume Hostilities Against The Nigerian Army? by derecho(m): 6:57pm On Mar 18 |
I see how some almajiris are celebrating the lawlessness of the NA.They see it as an opportunity to bully the South South. The Niger-delta is unique and could surprise Nigeria. The struggle for resource control may be reborn... Money may not quell the issue as in time past. Already many are seeing the different approach applied by the NA in the North and in other parts of Nigeria. This is a big minus for the NA. The Military need to be careful because if this situation isn't well managed, it'd escalate. As it stands now, Nigeria is tense and breakup is rife. When the problems start, you'd see even the army isn't united. I don't think those communities would allow the military unjustly destroy their land and won't think of how to hurt Nigeria in a "little way" Finally, the way to know a mighty man is how he relates with the weak. |

You mean the NA should not react when 16 of them were killed, their heads cut off and their organs harvested when on a peace mission to a community. Haba, soldiers too are humans 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Jogs1900:to react you shoot at innocent people? Who's stopping them from going after militants in their slum hideout? People only complain when they kill innocent village people going about their daily activities |

Feldie:The innocent people killed are the collateral damages as in the case of isreal vs hamas terrorists. Its normal. The army is being provoked already.. Even if dem be boyscouts, the must react. They soldiers killed are humans too.. |

Godons1:you people are playing with fire. When south south turn against the military it's the military that will run and Nigerian economy that will crumble. Continue supporting terrorism. What did they do to the people in Northern communities where soldiers were killed? 1 Like |

emperor4love: Bribing those with weapons is the tactics that even Buhari used. The alternative is blow billions in an active war like zamfara state (because of natural resources, Zamfara is currently the most dangerous place to send a soldier). |

Re: What If The Ijaws Decide To Resume Hostilities Against The Nigerian Army? by Jogs1900: 7:39pm On Mar 19 |
Ruke1989:I'm a Yoruba..Yorubas are cousins to Urhobo, itshekiri and benin Who are more Deltans than the itshekiris and Urhobo in delta state. Yorubas have crude oil if you don't know and have been at the forefront of resource control because they are contented with the resources in their region. Now tell me, why are your elders dead or alive afraid of resource control?Instead it's your people that will attach themselves to SS because of their oil and SS no send una. |
