Solidstar Biography

Joshua Iniyezo, a Nigerian singer, was born on November 8, 1988. He is widely recognized by his stage name SolidStar Isoko, or simply SolidStar. Hailing from Delta State, he kickstarted his musical journey as a drummer for a local church in his hometown. SolidStar gained widespread fame across Nigeria and Africa with his chart-topping hit song “One in a Million.” He was signed by Ossy Achievas.
In 2010, he released his debut album titled “One in a Million,” which enjoyed immense success. Following this achievement, he collaborated with African music legend 2face Idibia on the remix of “One in a Million.” Throughout his career, SolidStar has continued to release successful singles, further solidifying his status in the music industry.

Solidstar Early Life

SolidStar, known for his mastery of English, Isoko, and Igbo languages in his music, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Iniyezo in Delta State, Nigeria. His family hails from the town of Aviara. At the tender age of 14, SolidStar began honing his musical talents by playing drums for the choir at his local church in Aviara, marking the inception of his musical journey. Several years later, he caught the attention of record label owner Paul Cole at a music talent event in the Ajegunle neighborhood of Lagos State.
