Ondo south youth forum (OSYF)has appealed to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to shelve his ambition to run for the gubernatorial election in the interest of the southern senatorial district.
The group urged Governor Aiyedatiwa to rather back any of the aspirants from the southern senatorial district of the state for the gubernatorial seat in the interest of the southern senatorial district of the state in the forthcoming November gubernatorial election.
The youth emphasized that ondo South's interest was to present a candidate legally eligible to served out his full time of eight years in office instead of settling for just a term of four years in office.
The group noted that with the ruling of the supreme court of justice, Aiyedatiwa was only permitted by law to be sworn in office one more time since he already took the oath of office on December after the death of his erstwhile boss late Governor Akeredolu.
