Nairaland would have been bigger than facebook. Nairaland was founded in 2005 and facebook 2006, but;
1 Nairaland would have gone far if it was not specialised only for Nigerians. It should have been created like a global media.
2 Nairaland lacks so many features that facebook offers. Like creating a group, live videos, direct chatting, account visibility to other users in order to generate followers.
This is my own opinion.

Don't sound myopic! He was merely stating his opinion, if you can't handle varied opinions then stay off the Internet.

Fact is Nairaland 's chance to be great ha along gonw. No real investor will even offer 1 million for this website , why?
It has no real value. Millions of duplicate accounts and there are far more profitable platforms with far more followers.
So in a way I can't blame the owner for not investing in this website anymore.

It's glory days are long gone. The era when it was a trailblazer has passed .

Now it's just a cheap poorly developed website with no real value.
Trust me if it had value international companies like reddit , Twitter etc would have come to buy it.

So sad

Ok cool, you have tried for yourself, and I'm not also doing bad for myself too. But I still feel you don't have the right to teach anyone how he/she runs his business, it's ok if you give feedbacks and suggestions as a user of the site, but doesn't mean it must be followed.

The mistake you are making by comparing FB with NL is that you fail to differentiate between the two, one is a forum, while the other is something else entirely, so having th same features might not be feasible... I want to believe Seun himself has also thought about all these but chooses to ignore cos he knows what he wants for his business. I use to criticize him too, but I stopped doing that when I realised this.

You are not intelligent at all.... Name any forum in whole of Africa that can stand tall with NL.

I thought I was dealing with an intellectual but when I saw the bolded was when I realized your IQ level .
Alas I will not waste my time explaining to a supposed adult why you can't simply rate a website as standing tall. 🀣🀣🀣🀣
This isn't a motor park discussion, stand tall is not a metric πŸ˜‚

You don't have anything up there to keep up with the convo bro. Go and show someone around you who is more advanced intellectually and age wise ( if there's any) my comments so they could tell you what I'm trying to say. Be a good boy ok.

Also, I don't know if you made a typo error, but your words construction are really poor. No offence meant.

Still making the same typo error... Don't be in a hurry to reply, no one is competing with you. Ok I accept, you win ok. But still, tell any of your seniors around to lecture you on comprehension, so you won't be arguing blindly like you are doing now. Tell them to teach you how not to read meaning literarily, ask them to teach you various figure of speech. I just want you to be a better person and not necessarily proving a point. Enjoy your day.

I won't honour you will a reply any longer

If that's what avoiding unnecessary argument means to you, then it's fine. Do you even know if he was telling the truth. Too many online millionaires... Lolz

Not the first time I've heard that statement and it's variations here: "What have you achieved in your life"?

Silly questions that makes no sense since you don't know who you're speaking with.

You are just stressing yourself bro.... You think I believe any online claim? Lol... I have no problems with whatever anyone says, be it true or false... If you claim online millionaire with an empty stomach, that's your cup of tea, but doesn't change the fact that we truly have wealthy people here.

Me avoiding unnecessary argument doesn't really mean I believe what you typed. So rest
