The concept of money started from trade by barter and evolved into money as we have it now.
Formal education also evolved into its present form. As knowledge increased, specialisation became necessary and institutions that evolved into what we know today were created by consensus to teach and transmit knowledge. Of course, tests, examinations and certificates came in to attest to the pedigree of those who pass through the institutions.

Concept of time measurement also evolved from sand clock and the rest. The necessity of having some precise instruments to enforce appointments made man come up with instruments that can measure time.

For calendar, time was relative. Infact St. Gregory the Great who pioneered gregorian calendar that we use today sacrificed some days to have his calendar. I also hope that you are aware that you have different types of calendars?
