The halving seems to be one of the anticipated events in the CryptoSpace. Historically, it is seen as one of the major catalysts that spikes the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins alongside.

The event is slated to happen every 4 years. It has been found that the price of bitcoin surges upward whenever it happens. The last halving was around 2020, in 2021 we witnessed a full blown run with BTC peaking about $72K.

At present the next halving is slated to happen this year, 2024. The month of the halving is to be April, but no date is specifically chosen yet.
