The Bible tells us in Genesis 19: 31 and 32

31 One day the older daughter said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is no man around here to give us children—as is the custom all over the earth.
32 Let’s get our father to drink wine and then sleep with him and preserve our family line through our father.”

Beyond this reason , the way their dad , Lot was ready to sacrifice them to apparently protect the two angels who visited would have betrayed the trust they had for him as a father . We see this in verse 7 to 8

In Genesis 19:7-8, Lot says, “I beg you, my brothers, do not act so wickedly. Behold, I have two daughters who have not known man; let me bring them out to you, and do to them as you please; only do nothing to these men, for they have come under the shelter of my roof.

Lot instead of begging the angels to help him in taking care of the ravenous mob outside, he rather offered his virgin daughters to be abused , deflowered and raped by a mob!
That would have made the daughters lose every iota of respect for him and were probably waiting for the right time to treat his mess up.

The wife would have hated him for that and that may have contributed to her looking back because a woman will never feel safe with a man that can sacrifice anything for his own personal glory

Did u also notice Lot did not even bother when the beloved wife turned to salt. He could have prayed for Gods mercies and He would have reversed it. This attitude would have further broken the relationship with the daughters.
Lot lost it all by sleeping with his daughters .

We all need to learn from Lot. He was a good man but he didn’t manage crisis very well. His poor management skills of his family during periods of crisis eventually led to his fall.
