Hon Afuape Renews Commitment To Prioritize Constituents’ Welfare by Ainaolusegun: 8:44am On Mar 31
A member of the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta South, Hon. Afolabi Moruf Afuape, has renewed his commitment to prioritize the welfare of his constituents.

Hon Afuape gave the assurance during the distribution of food palliatives in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, aims to support the constituents.

Expressing gratitude to attendees including the Council of Baales, the Community Development Council (CDC), Student Representatives, People With Disabilities (PWD), and the Ogun Progressives Movement (OPM), Hon. Afuape reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing the welfare of the people.

He emphasized the importance of equitable distribution of the provided rice, beans, and additional garri, stressing that these provisions are funded by taxpayers.

Chief Tunji Falola, Chairman of the Council of Baales, commended Hon. Afuape’s steadfast commitment and urged him to persevere in his efforts.

Representatives from various groups echoed similar sentiments, applauding Afuape’s initiatives and urging continued support.


Hon. Atobatele, Abeokuta South Constituency One representative (PDP), lauded Afuape’s inclusive approach beyond party lines and called for fairness in distributing the palliative items.

Notable figures present included Chief Sunday Sowunmi, APC Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman; Prince Henry Adetunji Fagbenro, Abeokuta South APC Chairman; Mr Omolaja Majekodunmi, Abeokuta South Local Government Chairman; Prince Niyi Edun, APC Ogun Central Senatorial Fin.
