Understanding Your Divine Destiny by judedwriter(m): 11:48am On Mar 31
πŸ“– Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
β€” Jeremiah 1:5

Everyone was created with a divine destiny from God. Nobody was born useless. We were all born to achieve a particular purpose(s) of God.

Like in the case of Jeremiah, he was divinely destined by God, even before his birth, to be a prophet to the nations.

You were born for a particular purpose. Your coming into this world wasn't an accident, it was carefully planned by God.

Even before you were conceived in your mother's womb, God already knew you and He had great plans for your life.

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.”
β€” Hebrews 10:7

For everyone on earth, there is a book written of you by God concerning His will. It therefore means that nobody was born by chance or mistake. Your coming into the world was to fulfill God's will concerning your life which is His destiny for you.

One of the greatest tragedies of life is that most people hardly understand what their divine destinies are on earth. Even worse, most people are unable to fulfill their divine destinies on earth.

One easy way to know your divine destiny is through your inborn talents or gifts. When God calls a person before birth, He gifts such to achieve His special calling.

Everyone is born with a special ability or abilities from God that can make you great:

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
β€” Proverbs 22:29

Your business is what you are naturally good at. While some people are naturally gifted in the arts and crafts, others are naturally gifted in administration, communication, etc.

Take for example Joseph. He was gifted in dream interpretation. And his gift eventually led him to stand before Pharaoh.

In a nutshell, what you do very well and what people mostly commend you for, could likely be your divine destiny.

This is why when people are forced into the wrong professions or jobs because of poverty or chronic unemployment, they tend be very frustrated in life.

Nothing is more frustrating when you are operating outside God's destiny for your life, it can be very trying indeed. It's like forcing a lion to eat grass and a donkey to eat meat.

Here are some biblical characters whose destinies started from their mothers' wombs:

1. Jacob and Esau: They both wrestled with each other in their mother's womb indicating their individual destinies. When Esau came out, Jacob's hand was on his heel indicating his supplanting character which eventually led him to his destiny. (Genesis 25: 21-26)

2. John the Baptist: After Mary conceived Jesus, she visited Elizabeth her cousin. When John heard Mary's voice in Elizabeth's womb, he leapt for joy as his destiny was to be the forerunner of the ministry of Jesus. (Luke 1:39-44)

3. Samson: Samson's mother was instructed by the angel not to take wine or strong drink, or eat any unclean thing because of her special baby. He was to be born as a Nazarite, specially dedicated to God's service as a deliverer with supernatural strength. (Judges 13:3-7)

4. Noah: According to the book of Enoch, (Enoch was quoted in the bible, Jude 1: 14-15) when Noah was born, his eyes flashed with very bright light like the rays of the sun. Obviously, Noah was born as a special deliverer like Samson as through him both the human and animal race were preserved.

5. Moses: When Moses was born, he was very beautiful. His great beauty prompted his parents to know that he was a special child. (Hebrews 11:23)

6. Pharez: Both Pharez and his twin brother Zareh were conceived in the womb of Tamar through Judah. As Tamar was in labour, Zareh appeared to come out first and was marked, but all of a sudden Pharez overtook his brother by coming out first. Pharez's destiny was to be great as in the future his house was used as a reference for blessedness and greatness. (Genesis 38:27-29, Ruth 4:12)

Ten reasons why most people do not fulfill their divine destinies on earth:

1. Ignorance.

2. Low self esteem/inferiority complex.

3. Competitive spirit, comparing yourself with others.

4. Listening to wrong counsel, moving with bad company.

5. Fear of failure.

6. Mediocrity

7. Discouragement.

8. Witchcraft activities.

9. Curses.

10. Ancestral idolatry powers.

Please note:

πŸ‘‰Your divine destiny is based on your uniqueness, you must learn to appreciate your uniqueness.

πŸ‘‰Out of the billions of humans on earth, there is no one exactly like you. No one can do things exactly like you do.

πŸ‘‰God created you specially and gave you a special purpose/goal/dream/vision/objective.

πŸ‘‰The blessing of God is critical to your destiny fulfillment! God's blessings make rich, great and very successful!

πŸ‘‰The Holy Spirit made you! Therefore He can reveal your destiny and empower you in fulfilling it.

Happy Easter 🎊
