Never Underestimate the Power of Dua!

Of course as Muslims we believe dua is one of the noblest forms of worship that is never wasted nor goes amiss.

Dua serves a lot of purposes and response to dua comes in 3 forms, either you get what you pray for or your dua is used to offset an incoming bad events or you get rewarded in the hereafter.

It's always a plus for whoever immerse himself or herself in constant and persistent dua (supplications or invocations)

That said, let me share with us what one of our young brothers told me few years ago.

He said Mallam, sincerely Allaah answers dua and grant His Slaves their wishes.

I would have asked for billions!
I would have asked him to make me a billionaire.

He said during last Ramadan while we're at i'tikaf during the last ten days, I made a particular dua and Allaah had granted my request.

He said I asked Allaah to make me a millionaire immediately after Ramadan, he said I didn't know what else to ask Allaah, I just kept asking Him to make it easy for me to make millions in profits from my business pursuits.

He said a week after Ramadan I was in my mother's shop, and a lady came to ask for a particular (trending) product, we didn't have.

Another person came requesting for that same product, then the third person came.

The brother is into e-commerce business, his mum sells baby care products, he said immediately I told myself I needed to do more research about this product.

He said I took the picture of the product from the third person and did my research.

I got to know it's available in China. He said I ordered for 10 to test run the marketability of that product and to use as a sample.

He said the product won market admiration and people rushed it. I sold directly to final consumers and supply in bulk to retailers as well.

He said from this single product he made millions as profit and he was able to grow his business, acquired some properties and able to assist his parents financially.

He said I lent my mum millions of Naira as she too lent me money to make big orders when the product was booming.

I have once shared his story with us, it's just a reminder to exert yourself in worship generally and dua specifically during these last ten days.

Allaah answers dua, He grants responses to those who sincerely calls on Him.

I know of some people who depends heavily on Ramadan so highly that they plan what to achieve in each year's Ramadan (via persistent supplication and invocations)

I pray Allaah grant us our wishes, alleviate our fears and accept our worship!
