As an MTN Customer care representative, I know I wasn't earning enough, so I needed a career (remote job) that won't affect my job but help me earn more money.

I applied for a Social Media Management (SMM) course.
Oh God! It was hard to understand the teacher because he didn't teach me as a beginner, he taught me as someone that knows me so well, saw me as a smart person so I must connect the dots, practice myself and gain perfection.

I was taught how to use many platform that can be used to show forth my Social Media Management (SMM) skill and Nairaland was one of it.

I struggled with the first few months, it was very difficult for me trying to formulate words that would attract clients.
Gosh! What should I type? This or this?
I was like, is as if this Social Media Management thing is not for me.
How do people make money just working online?
I've got the skills now, where are the clients?


My Teacher gave me a lead, he said, "leave other platforms and focus on Nairaland."

Oya naw! I posted for one months, no client yet, on the second month, I got my first client.
Ah! My Class mate in secondary school, it's easy for him to Patronize me because he is my classmate, he knows I won't scam him.

I was happy a little, I've gotten first result. I needed more results.

How will I get another client that'll pay?
That's when I met the second client from Nairaland who paid 10,000 for YouTube Subscribers.
