Call for recruitment of Onogwu Muhammed (Galaticus) and Promise Emmanuel (Kogi Rabel) into Ododo's media team; a disaster only waiting to happen

I read with amazement the call on Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to bring in the above characters, Onogwu Muhammed and Promise into his media team in whatever capacity. Without any iota of doubt this is only a disaster waiting to happen and should be avoided.

Looking at the heading of the infamous write up "Why the media disaster in Ododo's government when he can recruit Kogi east top brains? authored by Okpanachi Ikani, who claimed to be a lokoja based good governance advocate, One would think that these person meant well for the state, until they introduced characters who contributed to the very woeful media performance and negative publicity the Governor Bello administration received for several years before God's intervention.

We are also aware that this infamous projection was also the hand work of Onogwu Muhammed and Promise Emmanuel out of desperation and insatiable greed, that can wait for another day.

If they did well as a media handlers, why are they desperately seeking by all means, including criminal infringement on the reputation of others to be considered for appointment?

While we agreed that there are best brains in the Media industry from Kogi East, Onogwu Muhammed and Promise Emmanuel do not fall into this category, because they lacked the capacity to be so addressed.

They are at best opportunists and people driven by greed with the soul intent of amassing wealth at the detriment of the administration they are supposed to project positively.
As someone from Kogi East, these characters certainly do not represent our best.

In case we have forgotten so soon, these so called Media team of the immediate past administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, which Onogwu Muhammed and Promise Emmanuel were key players was a monumental failure and disaster. This is to the knowledge of Nigerians and Kogi people.

It is on record that they even paid certain journalists to write for them as they were bereft of basic competence of a regular journalist.

A journalist from Vanguard newspaper in Abuja even had cause to report them to colleagues after the so-called media damagers failed in their unbridled corruption and deceit to pay the man for his services of writing for them to cover their crass incompetence.

To prove us right or wrong, do an opinion poll of these individuals using Kogi Journalists, I can bet you that they will not score 5% if not zero.

All they did was to tell lies, feed GYB with negative narrative about the media and then create crisis to make money to enrich themselves without any evidence of performance other than Facebook propaganda that created even more problems for their principal for most of the 8 years in office.

Because of their greed and cluelessness, they created an imaginary war between the state government and the media practitioners in the state. This they sustained for years with the help of their God father, Edward Onoja, who was the architect of all the problems associated with that administration, including creating known and imaginary enemies for that government.

From what I gathered from those on the field (Media practitioners), It took the intervention of one Madam Yemi Kolapo, a Media consultant to broker peace between the government and Media practitioners in the state. In one of their meetings, the then governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello was quoted as saying "I know things were bad, I don't know it was this bad. These were the credentials of those now being paraded as the best of media handlers from Kogi East. If anything they best as Media damagers and not managers.

It is rather unfortunate that people who couldn’t write press statements correctly and have no knowledge of the media industry are now being branded as the best in media management.

This is not only absurd, but a misnormal that unprofessional charlatans now sponsor mediocre electronic rats to promote their failed ambition to destroy the robust media architecture that Governor Ododo is building in the state.

While we want to believe that Ododo as a key player in that administration should be very familiar with these characters, it's better to warn him about falling into the same controversy which trailed Governor Bello's administration for years before God brought Madam Yemi Kolapo to the rescue.

What Ododo’a media team, which still has less than 10% of the full complement of the required personnel, has achieved in 60 days could not be matched by this failed media damagers in 6 years before GYB intervened directly by himself to save his administration from total media liability.
