They mocked us, saying our facilities aren't good enough, complaining about the tall grass at the MKO Abiola Stadium. They even mocked the fact that very few supporters came out in Abuja to cheer the Super Falcons. They boasted to have the stadium filled to capacity to cheer their girls on, and even boosted that they will thrash our girls on "better facilities". Hahaha ha, they failed to deliver on all grounds.

Trully, the South Africans are now our noisy brothers, all talk no action to match. 😁

Super Falcon rode their luck today.

Thanks to our keeper, SA would have beaten our girls.

It was a nervy match , and they put the falcons under immense pressure but grateful we triumphed.

Nigeria girls actually played better. Falcons controlled the game, technically, tactically, Nigeria was better and physically, Nigeria outmuscled them. Nigeria created and had better scoring chances. Thembi Kgatlana was frustrated throughout the match. The only time I watched the falcons play so well was during their World Cup match against England which they lost via penalties.

This girl is a baller…so strong, so fast and skillfull.
