You are part of our problem in this country if not, why would a sane person be celebrating and abusing the naira, haven't you be in an event and you see big men hold bundles of naira, and just take out some pieces and give the celebrants? Those kind of people understand what the law says about abusing naira..... If not that Nigeria police don't do their job when supposed to do..... In a sane country, if you squeeze their currency any how, u go to jail
Firstly, I'm not part of the problem.....
Besides, was it recently this law was passed?
And since then, lavish occasion has been holding albeit every Saturday, how many people have been arrested and tried?
Why the sudden focus on Bob?
If you are in support of this, then when next you go to a typical Nigeria party, look around and you and check if there isn't spraying and stepping of cash there!!!
Stop being hypocritical!!!!!

I'm a Christian. My religion frowns at gays, transgender, Lesbians and crossdressing. However, my religion tells me not to discriminate. Not even the Pope, head over 1 billion Catholics, will discriminate against a person because of their sexual orientation, or being gay.

In rich progressive countries of the world such as USA,Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, to discriminate against a gay person because of their sexual orientation can attract a prison sentence. Gay rights are taken seriously. It is only in poor retrogressive countries such as Nigeria that you see people openly discriminate against gay people

I'm not a fan of Bobrisky, trans, crossdressers or LGBT, but I think it very wrong and backwards to discriminate against them for that. What two consenting adults decide to do inside the bedroom is none of my business, even if they are same sex.

What is it as a Nigerian do you think you know, that Britain, USA and Canada don't know? You think those countries are foolish for protecting their gay citizens? While you are busy bringing out laws that jail and punish yours?

You watch people openly abuse and mutilate the Naira every day and think nothing of it, but support Bobrisky going to jail for that, just because he chooses to live an alternate lifestyle? The same lifestyle that countries you pray to be like protect?

Don't twist the plot for us.... Idris was jailed because he committed a crime and not because he's a pervert and a contagious moral epilepsy. He pleaded guilty guilty to the crime and was sentenced accordingly.

The judge was fair with him by asking him about his gender to avoid him being treated against his option. He confessed with his mouth that he's a man and not shehim... Where is perversion of judgement against him?

Bobrizki wasn't victimised by Nigeria State for being a gay or a crossdresser... Shehim is not the only non-binary harmaphodite in the country.

There's a whistle blower policy in the country, you can enrich yourself by tapping into the financial gains thereof.... Or you can choose to follow the steps of your imprisoned gay partner and see whether fire has any respect for who kindles it.

That it originates from your 'sane' clime doesn't mean it's sane.
Look back, they called our use of roots and herbs then primitive and forced their drugs down our throats, what do we have today?
They taught us the use of inorganic fertilizer in agriculture, what do we have today?
They will still somersault on this, it's just a matter of time

It does not matter what Bobrisky is, gay, transgender, crossdresser. The point is that the most advanced countries in the world protect the rights of people like him to be any of these things.

But poor third world countries are fighting and discriminating against people like Bobrisky. Why?

What wisdom do you have as a third world country you think super power don't have? Why are advanced countries protecting gays, but the less advanced poor countries of Africa are busy persecuting them? If being gay, transgender and crossdressing was the evil Africans think it is, would advanced countries protect the rights of their citizens to be those things?

This is a classic case where less advanced countries like Nigeria are still stuck in the stone age, while advanced countries are far ahead.

For advanced countries, its about the person, for less advanced countries like Nigeria, its about sentiments, the person is secondary.

That's just it. Advanced countries put people first, less advanced countries put sentiments first

you claim to be a religious person yet you do not frown at what is wrong? The countries you mentioned as being progressive have lost their moral and cultural values and it is because africans like to emulate them that we are having this mental pandemic.... LGBTQ is a mental disorder.... A man dressing as a woman's or identifying as a woman in medical books is a sign of a mental disorder. We can as well say mad people are alright because they choose to wear dirty torn clothes and eat from dunghills. As a Nigerian, I know more things about cultural values and spiritual values than the countries you mentioned. I have been around to those countries and what you see on the TV screens and hear are mostly far from the truth about the countries you so fantasize about.
When a man comes out in public and tries to force an obviously false narrative down your throat, will you accept it because he believes in its Men should be men.... Women should be women.... Dogs should be dogs and cats should be cats.... Lets stop encouraging the sick narrative that the biology we learnt in school is wrong. God created Eve for Adam not steve for Adam

Those countries that have lost their moral and cultural values, tell me how African countries are better than them? If LGBT is a mental disorder, is it discrimination and jail the answer? All your culture and vales have taken African countries where? To poverty, backwardness and deprivation. You want your country to be on the level of USA, Brita6and Canada, but you don't want to do things the way they do

it is sad that in the process of copying the people who enslaved our fore fathers you have decided to enslave yourself with the mentality that anything being done in the west is good for africa. Homosexuality is a disease. It is not accepted in christianity..... It is abhorred by islam.... It is not accepted by any known religion or belief.... But it is "okay" because the US and UK allow it Now.... Maybe you sympathize with them or you are a member, I do not know.... But I will say this as a person.... The act is what i detest not the people. The fact that you can condone lgbtq is the same with accepting child molestation and child slavery.....

Thank you for this point. I have always said that most Nigerians judge actions based on who performs the actions, not based on the actions. A can be condemned for doing what B was celebrated for. I support neither cross dressing nor rough handling of currency notes. But I am against selective justice.
All justice are selective.
Some armed robbers are in jail while others are walking free.
I am sure you don't crucify the police for such.

And this has nothing to do with "saner clime" or not.
Trump is facing multiple legal challenge regarding his business
for the misdeeds that many businessmen in his category does and got away with it.

Some black weed smokers are languishing in US jails while others were pardoned by Obama and Biden.

It would have been a different issue if he was convicted of a crime that is not in our law book
or was innocent.

Prosecutors choose who to charge or not. It is standard for non-violent crimes.

BTW, Bobrisky is not the first to be jailed for spraying Naira.

Animal, if Nigeria “has never worked since 1960”, how come an animal like you can read and write and type on a cheap phone?

Could your illiterate grandparents under colonial rule read and write and type?

How many schools did the British build?

Are you aware that literacy rate was under 7% at independence, compared to 70% today?

Without independence and indigenous rule which led to the building of thousands of public schools across Nigeria, you little buffoon, would have been an illiterate village palmwine tapper or bushmeat hunter like your grandpa, so take your nasty, idiotic and stupid attitude and go jump in a fcking river.
