Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria-very wicked set of people.

Imagine paying for 5 tons of cement while it was sold for less than 5k, and you asked the distributor to keep it for you at a cost only to come back for it & he's asking you to balance up as the price has shot up, so I heard by the way. He won't sell again if he dares try such with me.

They're quick to increase their prices at any slight opportunity but would be so reluctant to bring the same down, yet they're the toughest critique of the government

The dollar that everyone was using as excuse to increase prices of commodities has gone down from #1,900 to #850 now, yet Nigerians have refused to revert back to old prices before the dollar rise.. See how wicked we are to ourselves, yet we rush to blame Government. Some were even calling for protests against the Government but they have all gone silent now that retailers have refused to bring down prices.

How does this benefit the citizens of Nigeria when the prices of goods and basic essential commodities are still beyond the reach of households in the country. Something is simply not right somewhere

Naira/dollar prices are superficial. The prices will definitely go up because there's nothing holding the dollar down except the usual defending the naira with our foreign reserve which is not sustainable in this present economy.
Let's be patrotic by patronizing our home made goods and services. Then we can reduce burden on the naira. Our leaders are not patrotic at all. See the rate they enjoy foreign goods and services up and down including Oga presido. 99% of his escort cars are foreign and I believe they are enjoying foreign rice.
I sincerely wish we could love our Country like our foreign counterparts.
