(1) Goto Uniben Portal on https://waeup.uniben.edu
(2) On the right side, you will see 'Login'. Click it.
(3) Enter your Portal Login details
(4) Once in, click on 'My Data' option
(5) Select 'Payments'
(6) Then click 'Add current session payment'
(7) Select 'School Fee'
(8 ) Click 'Create Ticket'
(9) This will create a Remita payment ticket with Remita Response Reference(RRR) for you.
(10) From your Internet Banking or Mobile Banking App, you can make Remita payment using the RRR.
(11) You can equally go to any branch of your bank and tell them that you want to do a Remita repayment
(12) After you have done either (10) or (11), you go to the payment ticket on your portal and use 'Requery Remita Payment' to syncronize.

NB: If you are in Benin, you can go to any CBT centre in Uniben to do it as they know the process.

As you go along the process, there is a card option but i have never used it because the first time i tried it, it failed. So i do not bother with it.

The Remita payment process does not automatically synchronous the payment to your Uniben portal. So you have to use the 'Requery' option to do that as it is the RRR that ties it. So if a card is used, i do not know how that reference will be passed to Remita.

To be on the same side, use the branch of your bank if you do not have Mobile App or Internet Banking because if you are debited through card and it does not synchronize, you have to start pursuing Remita to reverse it and that might take time.

Once you are doing it from Mobile App or Internet Banking, once the RRR is entered, it automatically brings out the details from Remita. So they have a handle to it. Remita Payment is a specialised payment service in the banks.
