Hello, please help me I'm very restless right now I havr 2006 Toyota Avensis and the car rpm is very high when you starts even when idle for hours,but when you load gear it drops a little, took it to my mechanic he bought injector cleaner,spread inside the throttle body,wash the air flow meter all still don't work I don't just know what to do please 🙏 |

There are several things that can cause this, but each of them has certain conditions. Does it happen regardless of the amount of fuel you have? Does it happen only when the AC is running? Do you notice any noise like hissing, clicking, etc before the rpm drops (if it actually drops). Some Tips:Bad /dirt MAF or throttle body. Vacuum line, Compressor,high side fuel pressure,Bad AC clutch,Low refrigerant. Weak battery or alternator. Rich or lean fuel condition.Ignition system (plugs,coils) Electrical ie cooling fan, lights, blower motor . Vacuum /Exhaust blockage |

Whizzy080: Ive encountered this a lot of times. Service the throttle body as per what they call the "INJECTOR MOUTH". Pay close attention to the Automatic Choke control on the throttle body and observe if stuck. Use carburetor cleaner and to clean and loosen all all movable components in the choke control and refit.
